Joshua Moore was born on September 20, 1989 in Detroit, Michigan. Growing up, he developed a passion for music at a young age, inspired by the rock and metal scenes that were prevalent in his hometown. It was during his high school years that Moore would meet the individuals who would become his bandmates in the post hardcore group We Came as Romans. Alongside Dave Stephens, Kyle Pavone, Lou Cotton, Andy Glass, and Eric Choi, Moore helped form the band in 2005.
