Josh Stockdale was born on October 20, 1996, in Harrogate, Yorkshire. He discovered his love for music at a young age, picking up the guitar and teaching himself how to play. It was evident from the start that Josh had a natural talent for music, as he quickly mastered the instrument and began writing his own songs.
While attending school, Josh met fellow guitarist Harry Yates, and the two quickly bonded over their shared love for music. Together, they decided to form a band and began searching for other talented musicians to join them. After recruiting the other band members, PM was born.
PM quickly gained popularity in their local music scene, known for their independent spirit and unique sound. Their first hit, "Grown Ups," was a huge success, with the band even shooting their own music video for the song. Their DIY approach to music production and promotion set them apart from other bands and garnered them a dedicated fan base.
Aside from his music career, Josh is also the founder and CEO of Dream Beach Life, a digital creative agency specializing in videography, photography, and social media. His entrepreneurial spirit and creative vision have allowed him to successfully juggle both his music career and business ventures.
In 2018, PM embarked on a tour with British band The Vamps, further solidifying their status as rising stars in the music industry. Josh and his bandmates draw inspiration from a diverse range of musicians, listing Nirvana, Arctic Monkeys, and Justin Bieber as some of their top influences.
Despite his busy schedule, Josh remains grounded and humble, always making time for his family and friends. He continues to hone his musical skills and explore new creative avenues, eager to push the boundaries of his artistry.
