Jon Fishman, born on February 19, 1965 in Philadelphia, PA, was raised in New York as an adopted child. He spent his formative years developing a passion for music, particularly the drums. Fishman attended the University of Vermont where he honed his musical skills and later pursued a degree in music at Goddard College.
