John Wisniewski, born on June 28, 1962 in the United States, was raised in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. He is the son of a hard-working factory worker, who instilled in him the values of perseverance and dedication. Wisniewski attended Rutgers University, where he earned a bachelor of arts degree in English and Economics in 1984. He then pursued his passion for law and completed his Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University School of Law.
Wisniewski's political journey began when he was elected as a Democrat and representative of the 19th legislative district in the New Jersey General Assembly in 1996.
