Joep Smeele, born on March 11, 1990 in Hilversum, Netherlands, discovered his passion for music at a young age. Growing up in a musically inclined family, Joep was surrounded by various genres and instruments that sparked his interest in pursuing a career in the music industry.
In 2008, Joep met Rinze Hofstee while studying music composition. The two instantly connected over their shared love for electronic dance music and decided to form a partnership in 2010. It was during this time that Joep's career as a DJ began to take off.
