JJ Bleday, born on October 11, 1997 in Danville, Pennsylvania, is a professional baseball player who was raised in a supportive and loving family. He is the youngest of two siblings and was brought up by his parents, Raymond and Kathy. Growing up, JJ showed a natural talent for sports and knew from a young age that he wanted to pursue a career in baseball.
After attending Titusville Area High School, JJ transferred to A. Crawford Mosley High School in Lynn Haven, Florida where he continued to excel both academically and athletically. He graduated with honors and went on to pursue a college education at Vanderbilt University, where he played collegiate baseball while studying.
During his time at Vanderbilt University, JJ Bleday established himself as a standout player on the baseball team. His incredible talent and work ethic earned him recognition as one of the top prospects in the country, attracting the attention of professional scouts.
In 2019, JJ Bleday was drafted by the Miami Marlins in the first round of the Major League Draft, fulfilling his childhood dream of playing at the highest level. He made his official Major League debut on July 23, 2022, playing against the Pittsburgh Pirates as a member of the Marlins. The very next day, he recorded his first MLB hit during a 2 for 4 effort, showcasing his skills and potential as a professional athlete.
