James Love, also known as Doc, was born on February 19, 1969 in Moore, Oklahoma. Growing up, he developed a passion for cars and racing at a young age, which would eventually lead him to a successful career as a street racer.
After graduating from Moore High School in Oklahoma, Love went on to attend the Universal Technical Institute in Scottsdale, Arizona. It was during his time at UTI that he honed his skills in automotive technology, setting the foundation for his future endeavors in the automotive industry.
In 2001, Love established himself as the owner and operator of Southwest Diesel Service. Over the years, he built a reputation as a skilled mechanic and technician, specializing in diesel engines. His dedication to his craft and exceptional work ethic earned him the respect of his peers and clients alike.
Love gained widespread recognition when he became a cast member on the Discovery Channel reality television show Street Outlaws. Nicknamed Doc, he showcased his racing prowess behind the wheel of a 1970 Chevy Monte Carlo, thrilling audiences with his speed and precision on the track.
In April of 1990, Love exchanged vows with his wife, Judy Love. The couple has two daughters, Ashtyn and Haely, who have been a source of love and support throughout his career. Despite his busy schedule, Love always makes time for his family, illustrating his commitment to both his professional and personal life.
Throughout his career, Love has had the opportunity to work alongside fellow Street Outlaws cast member Justin Shearer, further solidifying his reputation as a top-tier racer within the street racing community.
