Jake Shakeshaft was born in Newcastle Under Lyme, England on July 25, 1995, to parents George and Mandy. Growing up as an only child, he showed a passion for music from a young age. He attended Langdale Primary School, where his love for music blossomed, and later went on to study at Newcastle Business & Language School and Newcastle Under Lyme College. It was during his time at college that Jake decided to pursue music full-time, ultimately leading to a successful career in the music industry.
During his early years, Jake started playing guitar and singing after being inspired by the likes of Ed Sheeran. His talent did not go unnoticed, as he was scouted at The Leopard Burslem in Stoke On Trent to appear on BBC 1's The Voice. He caught the attention of coach will.i.am, who selected him to be a part of his team on the show. This marked the beginning of Jake's journey to stardom and recognition in the music world.
