Iván Archivaldo Guzmán Salazar, known by the nickname Chapito, was born on August 15, 1983, in Mexico. He is the son of the notorious Mexican drug lord Joaquin Guzmán, better known as El Chapo, and his first wife, María Alejandrina Salazar Hernández.
