Isaiah Pola-Mao was born on June 30, 1999, in Phoenix, Arizona. Growing up in the Phoenix area, he showed a natural talent for sports from a young age. He attended Mountain Pointe High School, where he excelled in football, track, and basketball. Besides football, he also earned All-State and All-American honors for his athletic achievements.
After high school, Pola-Mao continued his football career at the University of Southern California. During his time at USC, he made a name for himself as a standout safety. In his sophomore year, he achieved a rare feat by recording an interception in three consecutive games, becoming the first player in over two decades to do so.
In 2022, Pola-Mao signed with the Las Vegas Raiders as an undrafted free agent, marking the beginning of his NFL journey. He made his official debut during the 2022 season opener against the Los Angeles Chargers, despite his team ultimately falling short in a 24-19 loss.
