Guneet Monga was born on November 21, 1983 in Delhi, India. She grew up in a supportive and creative environment which fostered her passion for filmmaking from a young age. After completing her schooling in Delhi, Guneet went on to pursue a bachelor's degree in communications from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
After graduating, Guneet Monga dove headfirst into the world of cinema. In 2007, she got her first opportunity to work on the Vic Sarin film Partition. This experience laid the foundation for her future success as a film producer.
Guneet Monga's big break came when she co-founded Sikhya Entertainment, a film production company based in India. With a keen eye for talent and captivating storytelling, she quickly made a name for herself in the industry. Under Sikhya Entertainment, Guneet produced several acclaimed films, including The Lunchbox (2013) and Peddlers (2012), which garnered widespread critical acclaim.
In addition to Sikhya Entertainment, Guneet Monga also headed Anurag Kashyap Films, further solidifying her position as a powerhouse in the Indian film industry. Through this production company, she continued to deliver compelling and thought-provoking films that resonated with audiences worldwide.
