At the age of 17, Giorgio Morandi began studying painting at the esteemed Accademia di Belle Arti di Bologna. Morandi was particularly drawn to the simple beauty of everyday objects, which would later become a trademark of his own artistic style.
After completing his formal education, Morandi embarked on his artistic journey, focusing on still-life paintings of bottles, bowls, vases, landscapes, and flowers. In 1929, he even had the opportunity to illustrate Vincenzo Cardarelli's "Il sole a picco," showcasing his talent beyond the canvas.
