Early Life
Born on January 4, 1990, in Kampala, Uganda, George William Kigozi, known by his stage name Geosteady, discovered his passion for music at a young age. Growing up in Mulago, he was raised by his parents, Ssebagala George William and Nantongo Agnes, in a family of six children. Despite facing challenges, George always found solace in music and started honing his talents by joining the school choir at St Henry's Primary School Ndikutamadda.
After completing his primary education, George continued his studies at St Henry's College before finishing his secondary education at Gangu Masaka Secondary School. It was during these formative years that George realized his calling to pursue a career in music, setting him on a path towards becoming one of Uganda's most celebrated artists.

In 2013, George burst onto the scene with his breakout hit single, "Viola," a reimagining of the late Ugandan singer Elly Wamala's classic song.

In addition to his music career, Geosteady is a brand ambassador for Reach A Hand Uganda, a youth-led organization dedicated to empowering and educating young people in Uganda.
