As a member of the hip hop dance trio The Art of Teknique, Gavin had the opportunity to showcase his skills on a national stage when the group competed on season six of America's Got Talent. Unfortunately, due to a conflict with another project, the trio was forced to drop out of the competition. Despite this setback, Gavin's talent and dedication to dance did not go unnoticed. In 2016, he had the privilege of working with the renowned dance group, the Jabbawockeez.
