Gabriella Pizzolo was born on October 3, 2003, in Schenectady, New York. Raised in upstate New York, she grew up alongside her younger sister Gillian. Their mother, a teacher, made the decision to homeschool the girls, providing them with a nurturing and supportive environment in which to explore their passions.
From a young age, Gabriella showed a natural talent for performing. At the age of seven, she began appearing in regional productions of popular plays such as Les Misérables, Ragtime, and Miracle on 34th Street. Her dedication and hard work paid off when she made her Broadway debut in the critically acclaimed musical Matilda.
Following her success in Matilda, Gabriella continued to make waves in the theater world. She appeared in productions of Hairspray, Little Shop of Horrors, and The Sound of Music, showcasing her versatility and talent as a performer.
Gabriella's big break came when she joined the cast of Fun Home on Broadway. Initially understudying for Tony nominee Sydney Lucas, Gabriella's incredible talent soon landed her the role of Small Alison. Her performance was met with critical acclaim, solidifying her status as a rising star in the theater world.
In 2019, Gabriella took on a new challenge when she joined the cast of Netflix's hit series Stranger Things. Playing the role of Suzie in season three, Gabriella showed audiences a different side of her acting abilities, proving that she is a force to be reckoned with on both stage and screen.
