Forrest Rhyne was born on May 29, 1999, in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania. Growing up in a close-knit family, he was one of four siblings. From a young age, Rhyne showed a passion for sports, particularly football. He attended Waynesboro Area Senior High School, where he was considered a two-star prospect. During his junior and senior seasons, he excelled on the football field, recording over 100 tackles.
After high school, Rhyne went on to attend Villanova University, where he continued to showcase his talent as a linebacker. He was voted to the first-team All-CAA three times, solidifying his reputation as a standout player in college football. In 2021, he had a standout season, earning the title of FCS All-American and being named the CAA Defensive Player of the Year.
In 2022, Rhyne's dream of playing in the NFL became a reality when he was signed by the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent. He made his official NFL debut during week twelve of the regular season, playing against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Throughout his rookie season, he played in three games and recorded one tackle.
