Fletcher Dragge was born on April 22, 1966 in California. Growing up in Hermosa Beach, he developed a love for music at a young age. He was inspired by the punk rock scene that was thriving in Southern California in the 1980s, and he knew that he wanted to be a part of it.
In 1988, Fletcher joined forces with Jim Lindberg, Byron McMackin, and Jason Thirsk to form the band Pennywise. Their energy and raw talent quickly caught the attention of fans and record labels alike. In 1991, Pennywise released their debut album, also titled Pennywise, which catapulted them to fame.
Since their debut, Pennywise has released over ten studio albums, each one showcasing Fletcher's incredible guitar skills. Known for their high-energy live performances and socially conscious lyrics, Pennywise has become one of the most influential punk rock bands of their generation.
Family has always been important to Fletcher. In 2009, he suffered a devastating loss when his younger brother Kristian passed away. Despite this tragedy, Fletcher has continued to honor his brother's memory through his music.
