Fernando Llort, an internationally acclaimed Salvadoran artist, was born on April 17, 1949 in El Salvador. He was the middle child of six children born to Baltasar Llort and Victoria Choussy. From a young age, Llort showed a keen interest in art and creativity. He pursued a degree in architecture from the University of El Salvador before furthering his studies in art at Louisiana State University.
Llort's artistry is characterized by vibrant colors and intricate patterns, drawing inspiration from the rich cultural heritage of El Salvador.
