Eric Klenofsky, born on September 21, 1994 in New Jersey, showed a passion for soccer from a young age. He attended DePaul Catholic High School, where he played high school soccer and honed his goalkeeping skills. During this time, he also played for the TSF Academy Club team, further establishing himself as a promising young talent in the soccer world.
After graduating from high school, Eric pursued his academic and athletic ambitions by earning a MSc in sports and exercise psychology from Staffordshire University. This educational background provided him with a solid foundation in understanding the psychological aspects of sports performance, which would later prove invaluable in his coaching career.
Eric's coaching journey began in 2018 when he landed the role of goalkeeper coach at Fairleigh Dickinson University. During his time at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Eric demonstrated his dedication to developing young talent and honing their goalkeeping skills.
In March 5, 2019, Eric signed with Toronto FC II, marking a significant milestone in his professional soccer career. This opportunity allowed him to showcase his talents on a larger stage and further cement his reputation as a skilled goalkeeper. Later, on September 2, 2020, he was loaned to USL Championship side Tacoma Defiance for the remainder of the season, where he continued to excel and make a name for himself in the soccer community.
Off the field, Eric is happily married to Lyndsey Klenofsky, whom he tied the knot with in July of 2023. The couple also announced that they were expecting their first child during the same month, bringing a new chapter of joy and excitement into their lives.
