Emily Schild was born on August 19, 1998, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to parents David and Maria Schild. At the age of seven, her family relocated to North Carolina, where she would begin her journey into the world of gymnastics.
Emily's gymnastics training commenced at DeVeau's School of Gymnastics in Indiana. It was here that her talent and dedication to the sport began to shine. In 2015, she joined the US National team, marking the start of her competitive gymnastics career.
