After graduating from high school, Elias decided to further his education and enrolled at Humber College to pursue a bachelor's degree in creative advertising.
During his first year at college, Elias stumbled upon mixed martial arts (MMA) classes as a way to stay fit and healthy. Little did he know that this casual interest would soon turn into a lifelong passion. Elias quickly became enamored with the discipline and mental fortitude required in MMA and decided to pursue it as a career.
After months of intense training and dedication, Elias made his professional MMA debut and went on an impressive 11-0 winning streak. However, every athlete faces setbacks and Elias experienced his first professional loss against Thiago Santos. Despite this setback, Elias remained determined and focused on honing his skills.
Elias's big break came when he competed on The Ultimate Fighter Nations: Canada vs. Australia. His exceptional talent and unwavering dedication earned him the title of the show's Middleweight division winner. Elias was known for his outstanding cardio and endurance in the octagon, earning him the nickname "Cardio King."
Tragically, Elias Theodorou's promising career was cut short when he was diagnosed with colon cancer at the young age of 34. Despite battling this devastating disease, Elias remained strong and resilient, inspiring countless fans and fellow fighters with his courage and determination.
