Doua Moua was born on July 2, 1987 in Thailand to parents Cher Tong Moua and Pang Chang. When he was just 6 months old, his family immigrated to the United States, settling in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Growing up, Doua was surrounded by a large family, including one brother and three sisters.
During his school years, Doua discovered his passion for singing and performing. He was actively involved in his school's choir and even participated in the award-winning Show Choir and Concert Choir at the International School of Minnesota.
