DeVonte Holloman was born on December 2, 1991, in Charlotte, North Carolina. He grew up in a supportive family environment with parents Teresa and Chris. Holloman discovered his passion for football at a young age and excelled in the sport during his high school years at South Pointe High School.
His outstanding play helped lead his team to a South Carolina high school state football championship, where he shared the field with future University of South Carolina teammate Jadeveon Clowney.
After high school, Holloman continued his football journey at the University of South Carolina. He transitioned to playing linebacker full-time and made an immediate impact on the field.
