Donald De La Haye, better known as Deestroying, was born on February 12, 1996, in Costa Rica. He is the son of Donald and Sheron De La Haye. At a young age, De La Haye developed a passion for football and dreamed of becoming a professional player one day. His athletic skills and determination led him to earn a spot as the kicker for the University of Central Florida football team.
In June 2017, De La Haye faced a challenging situation when he was told that he could only continue playing for the team if he shut down his popular YouTube channel. Refusing to give up his passion for creating content, he fought back with a video titled "Quit College Sports or Quit YouTube." The video sparked controversy in the college football community and garnered support from fans all over the world.
Despite the obstacles he faced, De La Haye's YouTube channel, Deestroying, continued to grow in popularity.
