David Angell was born on October 4, 1946, in Rhode Island. He grew up in a small town and had a passion for storytelling from a young age. Angell excelled in English literature and decided to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in the subject at Providence College.
After completing his education, Angell joined the U.S. Army and served at the Pentagon until 1972. During his time in the military, he honed his critical thinking and problem-solving skills, which would later prove invaluable in his career as a television producer.
Following his military service, Angell began working as a methods analyst at an engineering company. While he found the work intellectually stimulating, Angell always had a creative streak that he wanted to explore further. He took a leap of faith and decided to pursue a career in television production.
Angell's big break came when he joined the team of the hit television show Frasier as a producer. The show, which starred Kelsey Grammer, went on to become a massive success and earned Angell multiple Emmy Awards for his outstanding contributions.
In 1971, Angell married Lynn Edwards, his college sweetheart. The couple had a strong and loving relationship, supporting each other through the ups and downs of life.
Tragically, David Angell's life was cut short on September 11, 2001, when he was aboard American Airlines Flight 11, the first plane to hit the World Trade Center. His untimely death sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry, and he was remembered fondly by his colleagues and friends.
