Dave Hill was born on May 20, 1937 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He developed a love for golf at a young age and honed his skills while playing for the University of Detroit golf team.
After graduating from college, Hill turned professional and began his career on the PGA Tour. He quickly rose to prominence, winning his first PGA Tour event in 1961. Over the course of his career, he went on to win a total of 13 PGA Tour events.
Outside of golf, Hill had a close relationship with his brother Mike Hill, who also became a professional golfer. The two brothers shared a passion for the sport and often competed against each other on the course.
Although Hill's career was marked by controversy, he will always be remembered as a talented golfer who was not afraid to speak his mind. His impact on the game of golf is still felt today, and his legacy continues to inspire the next generation of players.
