Dallen Bounds was born on September 8, 1971, in Oregon to parents Dallen Terry Bounds and Sharon Lee Forrest Bounds. From a young age, he exhibited behavior that concerned his family and friends. Despite his troubled upbringing, he was able to hold down a job as a butcher, where he honed his skills with knives and other sharp objects.
Bounds's descent into darkness began when he committed his first murder at the age of 25. His victim, a Radio Shack employee, was brutally stabbed with a screwdriver in a fit of rage. This act of violence set the stage for the heinous crimes that were to follow.
Over the course of several years, Bounds went on a killing spree that left a trail of devastation in its wake. His victims included a clerk who was shot in a florist shop, as well as two acquaintances who met a similarly grim fate. With each murder, Bounds grew more brazen and reckless, showing no remorse for the lives he took.
Bounds's reign of terror came to a dramatic end when he barricaded himself in a remote cabin with two females, believed to be hostages. After a tense standoff with law enforcement, Bounds ultimately turned the gun on himself, ending his own life in a moment of tragic finality.
Despite his heinous crimes, Bounds left behind a daughter, a reminder of the complicated legacy he left in his wake. His name will forever be associated with the chilling acts of violence he committed, a dark chapter in the annals of criminal history.
It is worth noting that Bounds did not act alone in all of his crimes. In one instance, he worked with an accomplice, reminiscent of the infamous duo Clyde Barrow and Bonnie Parker. This partnership added another layer of complexity to Bounds's already twisted criminal history.
