Dakota Earnest was born on November 16, 1993 in Texas. She grew up in a competitive household with two siblings named Landon and Carson. From a young age, she showed a natural talent for gymnastics and was drawn to the sport.
Earnest made her competitive national debut at the 2006 U.S. Championships, where she impressed with her skills and determination, placing fourth. This marked the beginning of her journey towards becoming one of the top trampolinists in the country.
Throughout her career, Earnest has been inspired by the achievements of her fellow American gymnasts, including the talented Gabby Douglas. She dreamt of competing alongside them at the highest level, such as the 2012 London Games.
