Cometan's work has been recognized in academic circles, with several of his articles being published in prestigious journals such as the Oxford Journal of Law and Religion and the International Journal for the Study of New Religions.
In 2022, Cometan published two new books on Astronism, 'Astronism: the religion of the stars' and 'The Astronist Statement'. He is currently working on his latest work, 'The Astronist System'. Additionally, Cometan is in the process of writing his second treatise, the Astrodoxy.
Cometan's parents split up when he was just four years old. His mother, Louise J. Counsell, and his father, Sean Frederick Taylor, played important roles in his upbringing. In his personal life, Cometan dated Liana Tiratsuyan from February 2018 to September 2019 and is currently in a relationship with nurse Shanice George.
