Colleen Quigley was born on November 20, 1992 in St. Louis, Missouri to parents Ann Quigley and Gaylerd Quigley. From a young age, Colleen showed a natural talent for running and quickly fell in love with the sport.
Colleen attended Florida State University where she continued to excel in track and field. During her collegiate athletic career, she was awarded an impressive nine NCAA All-American honors. Her dedication and hard work on the track paid off, earning her a reputation as a top middle-distance runner.
Colleen's breakout moment came when she finished in 3rd place in the steeplechase event at the 2015 USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. This achievement caught the attention of the running world and catapulted her into the spotlight. Her talent and determination led her to compete in the 3000 meter steeplechase event at the 2016 Summer Olympics, further solidifying her status as a top runner.
