Cody Calafiore, born on December 13, 1990, in Hackensack, New Jersey, grew up in Howell with his older brother, Paul, and younger sister, Angelina. From a young age, Cody showed a talent for soccer and was drafted to play professionally. However, his dreams were shattered when he suffered a career-ending injury, forcing him to reevaluate his path.
After his soccer dreams were dashed, Cody decided to focus on his education. He attended Temple University, where he studied business and marketing.
