Clarissa Molina was born on September 23, 1991, in Santiago, Dominican Republic to Clara Contrera and Domingo Molina. She spent her childhood in Santiago de los Caballeros before moving to New York and New Jersey. Growing up, Clarissa always dreamed of becoming a beauty queen and making a name for herself in the pageant world.
Clarissa's journey to becoming a beauty queen was not an easy one. In 2012, she won the prestigious Miss Dominican Republic Tourism International pageant, showcasing her beauty and intelligence to the world. The following year, she conquered the stage once again and was crowned Miss Latina New Jersey USA, solidifying her status as a rising star in the pageant scene.
However, it was in 2015 and 2016 that Clarissa truly made a name for herself. She participated in the popular reality television-based beauty pageant Nuestra Belleza Latina, finishing as the runner-up in 2015 and ultimately winning the competition in 2016. Despite facing initial criticism from some of the judges for her demeanor, Clarissa's perseverance and talent shone through, earning her the title of Nuestra Belleza Latina.
