Christopher Tony Wolstenholme was born on December 2, 1978, in Rotherham, England. From a young age, he showed an interest in music and began teaching himself to play the bass guitar in 1991. Little did he know that this would be the start of an incredible musical journey.
In 1991, Christopher was approached by lead singer and guitarist, Matthew Bellamy, to join a new band he was forming. Along with drummer Dominic Howard, the trio formed the alternative rock band Muse.
