Chris Walley was born in Cork, Ireland on June 21, 1995. From a young age, he showed a passion for acting and performing. He took classes at the Gaiety School of Acting and the Cork School of Music, where he was a member of the Youth Theatre group.
After high school, Chris auditioned for the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art but was unsuccessful. Undeterred, he decided to pursue his passion for acting by earning a BA in Drama and Theatre studies at Cork School of Music.
Chris made his acting debut in a stage revival of Martin McDonagh's play The Lieutenant of Inishmore. His talent and dedication to his craft caught the attention of filmmakers and casting agents, leading to his breakthrough role as Jock O'Keeffe in the film and television versions of The Young Offenders.
His portrayal of Jock O'Keeffe earned him critical acclaim and an IFTA Award. Chris's chemistry with his co-star Alex Murphy was a highlight of the show and helped make The Young Offenders a hit with audiences.
Outside of his acting career, Chris comes from a family with a rich political history. His great-grandfather, William Norton, was an Irish Labour Party politician. Chris credits his family for instilling in him a strong work ethic and sense of social responsibility.
With his talent and dedication, Chris Walley is poised to have a long and successful career in the entertainment industry. He continues to challenge himself with diverse roles and projects, always striving to grow and improve as an actor.
