Chris Kreider, a left winger in the National Hockey League, was born on April 30, 1991, in Boxford, Massachusetts. Growing up in a hockey-loving family, Kreider was introduced to the sport at a young age. His family were avid fans of the Boston Bruins, the rivals of the team he would later play for, the New York Rangers.
