Brusdar Javier Graterol was born on August 26, 1998, in Calobozo, Venezuela. Growing up, he developed a passion for baseball and dreamed of one day playing professionally. He worked hard to hone his skills and eventually caught the attention of scouts from the Minnesota Twins.
Graterol was signed by the Minnesota Twins as an international free agent in 2014. He began his professional career playing for the Twins' rookie affiliate team, the DSL Twins. His talent and dedication quickly propelled him through the ranks of the Twins' minor league system.
