Brooke McCarter, born on April 22, 1963, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was raised in a close-knit family alongside his brother Robert and sister Melissa. From a young age, McCarter showed a passion for performing arts and entertainment.
At the age of 14, McCarter won a New Faces modeling contest, which sparked his interest in the world of entertainment. He later enrolled at Ohio State University on a racquetball scholarship, but his true calling was in acting.
