Brian Nutter, born on January 17, 1973 in West Virginia, was exposed to music at a young age through his father, Keith, who was in a band. Keith would take Brian on tour with him on weekends, sparking a lifelong passion for music. His mother, Sandy, worked for The Family Dollar, providing a supportive foundation for Brian's musical pursuits.
After high school, Brian pursued a degree in music education at West Virginia University. To pay for school, he gave guitar lessons, honing his skills as a guitarist. During this time, he also began working as a session musician in Los Angeles, gaining valuable experience in the music industry.
Following his time in Los Angeles, Brian returned to West Virginia in an attempt to start his own band. However, faced with challenges, he made the decision to move to Nashville, a city known for its vibrant music scene. It was in Nashville where Brian's career truly took off.
In Nashville, Brian formed the musical duo unBRAKEable with his wife Blake Gray, whom he married in May of 2014. Together, they embarked on a successful musical journey, showcasing their talent as guitarists, singers, and songwriters.
