Brandon Semenuk was born on February 3, 1991 in Whistler, Canada. His passion for mountain biking began at a young age, thanks to his older brother who introduced him to the sport. At just 6 years old, Semenuk started to ride and by the age of 9, he was already competing in cross country competitions across Canada. It wasn't long before he discovered his true calling in freestyle mountain biking at the age of 14.
Semenuk's talent and hard work paid off when he won the prestigious Red Bull Rampage competition in 2008 at the age of 17. This victory put him on the map in the mountain biking world and opened up numerous opportunities for him. He continued to make a name for himself by winning the Freeride Mountain Bike World Tour overall titles in both 2011 and 2012. His success didn't stop there, as he went on to win a silver medal at the debut of slopestyle mountain biking at the X Games in Germany in 2013.
Throughout his career, Semenuk has solidified himself as one of the top BMX riders in the world. He is known for his incredible skill and precision on the bike, as well as his ability to push the boundaries of what is possible in freeride mountain biking. Semenuk has been a part of the Red Bull Roster alongside other legendary riders such as Jill Kintner.
