Bonner Bolton was born on January 6, 1987 in San Antonio, Texas. He was raised on a ranch in West Texas where he developed a love for rodeo from a young age. His father, Toya Bolton, was a rodeo cowboy for over 20 years and passed down his passion and skills to his son. At the age of ten, Bonner was taught how to ride by his father and began competing in rodeo events.
At the age of 18, Bonner Bolton decided to turn his passion for rodeo into a professional career. He quickly rose through the ranks and at the age of 20, he won his first world title as a bull rider. His natural talent and fearless attitude set him apart from his competitors, making him a force to be reckoned with in the professional bull riding world.
In 2015, Bonner finished in fourth place at the Professional Bull Riding World Finals, solidifying his reputation as one of the top bull riders in the industry. However, his career was almost cut short in January 2016 when he suffered a near fatal accident. After being bucked off the back of a bull, Bonner landed on his head and was left with a serious injury. Despite the setback, he was determined to make a comeback and continue pursuing his passion for bull riding.
In 2017, Bonner Bolton took on a new challenge by becoming a contestant on season 24 of the popular reality show Dancing with the Stars. Paired with professional dancer Sharna Burgess, he wowed audiences with his charisma and determination on the dance floor. His experience on the show helped him showcase a different side of himself and expand his horizons beyond bull riding.
