Blake Hance was born on November 1, 1996, in Jacksonville, Illinois. Growing up, he had a passion for football and dreamed of one day playing in the NFL. He attended high school in Jacksonville, where he excelled as a football player and caught the attention of college recruiters.
Hance went on to play college football at Northwestern University. During his time at Northwestern, he dedicated himself both on and off the field. In 2017, he was named to the All-Big Ten Academic team, showcasing his dedication to his studies as well as to football.
After going undrafted in the 2019 NFL Draft, Hance signed with the Buffalo Bills as an undrafted free agent. He later joined the Washington Commanders, New York Jets, Cleveland Browns, and San Francisco 49ers before finding a home with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2022.
During his NFL career, Hance faced off against formidable opponents such as the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Kansas City Chiefs. Despite facing tough competition, he always gave his best on the field.
