Ben Schreen was born on April 27, 1989 in Iowa. He attended Waverly-Shell Rock High School, where he excelled both on the basketball court, winning a state championship, and in the choir, earning a spot as an all-state singer. His diverse talents and passion for performance were evident from a young age.
After high school, Schreen continued to pursue his interests in basketball and music at the University of Dubuque in Iowa. He later transferred to the University of Northern Iowa, where he not only continued his collegiate basketball career but also sang in the choir. It was during this time that he discovered his love for communication and entertainment.
While studying at university, Schreen decided to explore his talents further by competing in IMTA 2012. His hard work and dedication paid off when he was named Male Model of the Year and Most Sought After Talent.
