Beatrice Vio was born on April 4, 1997 in Venice, Italy. Growing up in Mogliano Veneto, she was an active child who participated in various activities such as fencing, scouting, and soccer. However, her life took a drastic turn in 2008 when she was diagnosed with meningitis. The illness eventually led to the amputation of all of her arms and legs, forever changing the course of her life.
