He is best known as a founding member of the Khusugtun Ethnic Band, a group that has garnered international acclaim and numerous awards for their unique blend of traditional Mongolian music.
From a young age, Batzorig was captivated by the haunting sounds of the Morin Khuur, or horse-head fiddle, and the ancient art of Mongolian urtiin duu, or long song. His passion for these traditional musical forms led him to pursue formal training at the Institute of Culture in Ulaanbaatar City, where he dedicated over 5 years honing his craft before embarking on a professional career in the year 2000 at the Mongolian Grand Theatre of National Art.
