Barnaby Edwards was born on August 20, 1969, in England. He grew up with a passion for art and French, which led him to pursue a degree in fine art and French at the University of Exeter. In 1991, he successfully graduated with his degree and decided to further his education by training at the Guildford School of Acting in 1992.
Following his training at the Guildford School of Acting, Barnaby Edwards began his acting career and quickly found success as a voice artist and actor. One of his most notable roles is as a Dalek operator on the iconic British science fiction series Doctor Who. He has been a long-running Dalek operator on the show, appearing alongside Doctors Christopher Eccleston, David Tennant, Matt Smith, and Peter Capaldi. In addition to his work on Doctor Who, Barnaby has also written, produced, and performed dozens of Doctor Who audio stories and narrated various Audible audiobooks.
