Arnold Naudain was born on June 1, 1790, in Delaware. He was a member of the Whig Party and served as the U.S. Senator from Delaware from 1830 to 1836. Naudain also held a position in the Delaware General Assembly.
Naudain studied Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and graduated in 1810. Following his graduation, he served as a surgeon general of the Delaware militia during the War of 1812.
