Anthony Mingoia was born on September 25, 1983, in the United States. He grew up with a passion for music and began playing the drums at a young age. Mingoia attended Mount Sinai High School where he met his future bandmates Joe Ragosta and Drew Buffardi. Together, they formed the American rock band Patent Pending and quickly made a name for themselves in the local music scene.
While still in high school, Mingoia and his bandmates played shows around Long Island, New York, building a loyal fan base. They released their debut EP, Meet the Fat Kids, in 2001, showcasing their energetic and catchy punk rock sound. The EP gained attention and set the stage for Patent Pending's future success.
In 2012, Billboard recognized Patent Pending as the "Dream Seeker of the Year," cementing their status as a rising star in the music industry. Mingoia's drumming skills and energetic stage presence were instrumental in the band's growing popularity. He continued to contribute to the band's success with their full-length albums, including Save Each Other, the Whales Are Doing Fine, Second Family, Brighter, and Riots Hearts Rebellion.
Outside of his music career, Mingoia found love with his fiancée Lisa Peterson, whom he met in 2002. The couple got engaged in April of 2017, celebrating their commitment to each other amidst Mingoia's busy schedule as a musician.
