After six years of working with Black, the duo decided to join forces and create their own interior design studio and storefront, Black & Spiro, in 2001.

Building on the success of Black & Spiro, Anna Spiro went on to establish her own studio, Anna Spiro Designs, which now operates out of locations in both Brisbane and Melbourne. Through her studio, Spiro has transformed the interiors of numerous residential and commercial spaces across Australia, leaving her mark on popular establishments like Halcyon Spa, Naga Thai Restaurant, and Arc Dining & Wine Bar.

In addition to her work as an interior designer, Anna Spiro is also a bestselling author, known for her beautifully-illustrated books "Absolutely Beautiful Things" and "A Life in Pattern." She is the creative director of Anna Spiro Textiles, a company she co-founded with her brother, Sam Spiro, which showcases her distinctive fabric designs.

In addition to her successful partnership with her brother in Anna Spiro Textiles, Spiro is also the proud mother of a son named Harry from a previous relationship. In March 2023, she tied the knot with her husband, Luke Warwick.
