Andy Pleasants was born on December 1, 2000, in the United States. From a young age, Andy was passionate about American Sign Language (ASL) and deaf culture. His older sister, McLaine, and brother, Jaimeson, also played a significant role in shaping his upbringing and interests.
In March of 2015, Andy posted his first video on YouTube. The video, an ASL cover of the Twenty-One Pilots song "Car Radio," quickly gained attention and marked the beginning of his journey as a Deaf YouTuber. Through his channel Andy Signs, Andy uses his social media presence to spread ASL and deaf culture through cover videos and tutorials.
Aside from his main channel Andy Signs, Andy also created a side gaming channel on YouTube called ThatDeafGamer. This platform allows him to showcase his skills and connect with a wider audience.
One notable collaboration Andy engaged in was with Libbey Ketterer, also known as TheDailySign. Together, they created an ASL/PSE cover of "Sucker for Pain," further cementing Andy's impact on the Deaf community and beyond.
Outside of his online presence, Andy enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He values the support and love they have shown him throughout his journey as a Deaf content creator.
