In 2005, during his high school days, Andy Glass joined forces with Dave Stephens, Kyle Pavone, Joshua Moore, Eric Choi, and Lou Cotton to form the melodic metalcore band We Came as Romans. The band quickly gained a following in the local music scene and began to work on their debut album.
In 2009, We Came as Romans released their debut album, To Plant a Seed, which received critical acclaim in the metalcore community. The band's unique blend of melodic hooks and heavy breakdowns caught the attention of audiences worldwide. Their sophomore album, Tracing Back Roots, was released to commercial success, peaking at #8 on the Billboard 200 Chart.
